The Athenaeum Hotel – Built in 1973, it is situated on Piccadilly on the edge of Mayfair opposite Green Park. It offers the most modern in-room technology, and attempts to make its guests feel warm and homely like being a home whilst staying. It is designed for all travelers.

The hotel is in the heart of the West End, between the airport and the City. Well-placed for leisure and business we're just 5 underground stops to the City and on a direct line to Heathrow. Victoria Station, for Gatwick, is 1 stop away. The cab rank is a few steps from the front door.

You're driving to the hotel? No problem. Come to the front door and the hotel has valet park your car securely, retrieving it when you need it.

The restaurant, bar and lounge fend off friendly competition from the Athenaeum's impeccable 24-hour room service by creating their own distinct and welcoming ambiance.

• Bullochs at 116 serves 'Modern British' dishes with a Mediterranean influence.
  Award-winning chef David Marshall selects the freshest, finest ingredients. His menu includes organic produce from approved and carefully selected sources in France, Italy, Scotland and England. These ingredients include handmade Italian mozzarella, Aberdeen Angus grass-fed beef, asparagus, English lamb and New Forest wild mushrooms.
  
  Like the dishes, the décor at Bullochs has a Mediterranean influence – with a touch of celebrity stardust. The floor is Jerusalem stone with antique mosaics and each chair features the name of a former celebrity occupant.
  
  
• The Windsor Lounge has a comfortable, country house atmosphere, although unlike a country house, it's open 24 hours a day.
  
  'Lounge' is an apt description, as you can lounge in the voluminous sofas, cocooned by the warm personal service we're famous for. If you're in town on business, the Windsor Lounge is a good venue for an impromptu, informal and intimate meeting.
  
  The lounge serves light meals, sandwiches and classic English afternoon teas with cakes and pastries. It's the place to enjoy a glass of champagne, a classic cocktail or a nightcap following an evening at the theatre.
  
  
• The Whisky Bar has the widest selection of whiskies in London – around 157 at the last count. (But who's counting?).
  
  From famous blends to rare single malts, the miscellaneous bottles represent the best of Scotland's most famous export. For the non whisky drinker we also serve your favourite drink and classic cocktails. Complimentary hot and cold canapés accompany the drinks each evening.
